By default, the device performance web page displays information about alarms associated with the given device in the following frames:
Problems
Overview of current and past problems by alarm type.
Active Alarms
Open alarms associated with the device.
Alarm History
History of alarms associated with the device.
The Problems frame in the device performance page provides a summary of current and past problems by alarm type. This frame displays all types of alarms related to the given device (e.g., Device is down, SNMP agent not responding, HTTP service failed, etc.) that are open or have been open within the last 30 days time frame.
For each alarm type the number of currently active alarms is shown (if any), the number of alarms that existed within the last 24 hours (if any), and the number of alarms that existed within the last 30 days (if any) - without the last 24 hours. The last two values do not include current alarms.
By default, alarm types are ordered by severity, with the most severe (critical) alarms on top.

The Active Alarms frame in the device performance page displays a list of active (open) alarms on the given device. The list of active alarms is updated in real time: new alarms are automatically added to the list as they occur, and existing alarms disappear from the list when they get cleared.
For more information about alarms see the About alarms in Net Inspector section.

Users can view and manage active alarms, i.e., acknowledge, unacknowledge, manually clear, comment, filter, sort, etc., as described in the Managing Active Alarms topic.
The Alarm History frame in the device performance page displays a list of all alarms (open and closed) on the given device in the given time frame. One can select the time frame in the Time Period drop-down list in the titlebar of the device performance page.
The Alarm History frame consists of two parts:
Stacked alarm history chart (upper section) provides information about the distribution of alarms within the given time frame
Alarm history list (lower section) displays the list of all alarms that existed in the given time frame.
For more information about the Alarm History frame, see the Alarm History (Alarms page) topic.
